First of all, we would like to announce that after TONS and TONS of bureaucracy we’re officially a game development company, something we’ve been chasing for a long long time. We’re very excited and we would like to share our excitement with you all because we would not be here without our support. 

Secondly , we’re very proud to tell you guys that the saga of Mycopsychosys is FINALLY ON STEAM.

But that's not the only one... We are officially launching ANOTHER game on Steam...

As a lot of you probably know, the original Mycopsychosys was a game we created for a game jam, the Spooktober 2023 edition. We had only 2 weeks and we did what we could with the time we had. We published a second version later that year that expanded the base game, added the 3 good endings you all know and fixed (a lot) of bugs. But still, we felt like we didn’t do enough justice to this project. We wanted to improve on it a bit more, give it one last chance to shine, this time on Steam. We want to clarify that this is not just a Remaster, it’s basically a 2.0. This new version will include:

  🍄 -Animated and redrawn sprites for all the characters

  🍄-New and re-drawn backgrounds

  🍄-TWO completely new characters with their respective stories and endings

  🍄-Official Ukrainian translation (thanks to the LOCult team <3)

  🍄-Some changes to the cannon story of the official game

  🍄-Steam achievements

As for the price and release date, we expect to release the game this late July / early August depending how Steam handles testing periods (it’s our first time so please be patient with us). After thinking a lot about what to do with the itch.io version (Mycopsychosys 1.0), we ended up wanting to keep that version as it is for free and put a price tag of 4.99€ to the Steam version. This new funding would greatly help us with the development of Mycopsychosys Project Jupiter. Making you all pay for simply having the game on Steam would not feel right. That’s why we wanted to give you not only the remastered but new fresh content to enjoy as well. And that’s it for now! Lots of exciting things are coming and we’re very glad we’re able to share them with such a wonderful community.
